Portsmouth’s Lakeside complex welcomes Checkatrade
Due to expansion, Checkatrade, the firm with a mission to eliminate rogue traders, has decided to move it’s operations from its current home in Selsey, just up the coast, to Portsmouth’s Lakeside business hub.
The decision to make this move, according to The News (Tuesday 9th October) was taken due to their significant investment, growth and expansion plans. The company plans to begin the move in April 2019 and complete it in July 2018. 218 employees are expected to be based in their new offices here in the north of the city.
The Portsmouth Property Association welcomes this move – it indicates that the modern, fit for purpose premises at Lakeside is an attractive ‘pull’ to the area and its location near to Cosham train station and the M27 is excellent for Checkatrade employee commuters.
