On Wednesday 12th June, a group of PPA members swopped their coffee cups for highball tumblers, ice and lemon and gathered for a very ‘different’ sort of PPA members meeting; they visited the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery in Whitchurch.
Members from Donnelly and Elliott, Fairhalls Lettings & Property Management, Verisona Law, Shoesmiths and M H Architects gathered at the historic distillery at Laverstoke Mill in rural Hampshire. Here, they embarked on a tour and sampled some tasters of the world-famous gin.
Louisa Fairhall, a partner at Fairhalls Lettings & Property Management, was part of our group and gave her view of the outing.
“It was well worth going, the site’s history and the buildings were really amazing, as well as the gin and tonic cocktails!”
“The tour was really professional and interesting. We learnt all about the distillery and how it works and the history of gin. We visited the fantastic, newly built greenhouses growing samples of the botanicals they add for the different flavours – it was fascinating.”
“I think it’s safe to say that we all enjoyed the day, getting to know PPA Members over a few gin and tonics and a very tasty buffet.”
